Poster Presentations

The Eighth European Congress on World and Global History offers collaborative research projects the opportunity to participate in an academic poster presentation. The posters will be on exhibit throughout the entire congress and on 11.09., right after the ENIUGH general assembly, participants will have the opportunity to present their projects in elevator pitches.

The Concept:

• The poster presentation is intended for collaborative research projects that bring together at least three different researchers at all stages. (Individual projects are not eligible.)
• We especially encourage projects to participate, that have an interactive element and/or are intended to benefit the research community as a whole, that is for example online archives, research or media platforms, handbook or book series projects etc.
• The posters should give an impression of the topic, research question, methodology, and intended outcome for the project.
• They should highlight the elements of the project that invite other scholars to participate in or engage with the research project.
• Poster designs should contain visualizations and not only textual elements.
• Posters should be designed in A2, portrait format.

The Procedure:

• If you are interested in participating in the poster presentation, briefly notify the organizers and ideally provide a (working) title by 30.06.2025.
• Send the finished design by 28.07.2025 (ideally via a linkshare program such as wetransfer).
• A designer will put all posters on a common background in the ENIUGH colors and we will print them for you as well as transport them to Växjö and see to their installation.
